I am a wife. My
husband is a wonderful and goofy guy and takes good care of us. We are best
friends and always look forward to the next road trip.
I am a photographer. God
gave me a great talent and I intend to use it to great good.
I enjoy giving back to the community.
2010 marked the first year for the fundraiser for Grace House Ministries
- The "Little Buckaroos" Sessions because of the belief that every life is
precious. Grace House is a
life-affirming crisis pregnancy center in Parker County Texas. (See "Little Buckaroos" page for more
information)
I specialize in child and newborn portraiture because that is where my heart is. I capture what I love. Children are very dear to me. I love to watch them as they grow up and learn and discover new things. I love capturing that on "film". It always makes me smile to see a mother's face light up with joy when she sees her child's images that I have taken. I love to capture that moment for them, for their families lives to be remembered as an heirloom, passed down for generations. The happy moments and the silly moments, the moments that beg to be remembered.
The Studio:
As a mother, I know how it can be to have portraits created. That is why I come to you! I can meet you at a favorite park or even set up the studio in your living room. You need your session to be as comfortable as it can be. Children are happier when they are in a familiar environment. Plus by working in your home, if we have a small mishap with wardrobe or something just doesn't look right, we have your entire closet at hand to get what we need. This is extremely important with newborns, and I will insist on coming to you for those sessions. If it is easier for you, then you are welcome to come to the studio.
Because portraits are so important to me, I strive to offer only the very best in quality. All of the artwork is created to last. I want your great grandchildren to enjoy these beautiful portraits! We offer mounted art prints as well as framed and canvas pieces that are ready to hang on the wall. When you book your appointment, you will also book a design consultation where we go over together all your thoughts and hopes for your portrait session, clothing options as well as locations. This can be done in person, or over the telephone. This way, we are on the same page and makes your portrait session go much smoother.
